Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Bigman ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit bigman.studio, create an account, download a free MP3, join an email list, or buy a license.

This is a product-accurate description of the live site, not a promise that analytics are anonymous.

• Account and contact data: Email and password (or Google sign-in) when you register. We store a user profile in Firebase (email, role, preferences, library, coins). If you email or DM us, we receive whatever you send.
• Email lists: Joining the homepage or about-page list, unlocking a free MP3 with your email, or creating an account adds that email to our subscriber list (Resend + Firestore). New accounts are subscribed to product drops and marketing by default. You can change this in the dashboard or via unsubscribe.
• Purchases: Stripe processes cards. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe shares email, payment status, and enough metadata to fulfill the download and license.
• Analytics: If you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Analytics 4 (G-H4KP8CYSQ7). Separately, the site sends first-party page views (path, title, referrer, and a session id stored in localStorage as studioAnalyticsSessionId) to our trackView function. This is not anonymous.
• Device storage: Theme, cart, analytics consent, and similar preferences stay in localStorage on your browser.
• Arcade / network: If you play Arcade or use Producer Network while signed in, we store scores, coins, and progress tied to your account. Some leaderboard fields are public.

Essential storage (theme, cart, login session, consent choice) is needed for the site to work. Google Analytics cookies load only after you accept analytics on the notice. You can keep essential only. We also load fonts from Google Fonts.

• To run accounts, downloads, licenses, and support.
• To send receipts and deliver paid WAV / kit files.
• To email drops and studio updates if you are on the list — unsubscribe anytime.
• To understand traffic and improve the catalog (analytics and first-party page views).
• To enforce bans and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with processors that run the site:

• Firebase (Google) — hosting, auth, database, storage.
• Stripe — checkout and receipts.
• Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics.
• Resend — transactional and list email.
• When required by law.

Account, purchase, and download records are kept so you can re-download and so we can honor licenses. Email list records stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics aggregates are kept for site stats.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Signed-in users can also change email preferences on the dashboard. We will respond promptly. If you are in a region with additional rights, email us and we will handle the request in good faith.

The site is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account or submit an email if you are under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date below is the latest revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
